That he apparently didn’t read it? That we have the 7th best ERA in MLB? That only 2 of the National League teams we might have to beat to win the WS are ahead of the Yankees? Nah. If not going to point those things out... And, we are statistically in the same grouping as number three, as only the Dodgers and the Rays are significantly better. That there are 5 play off contending teams with better pitching staffs than ours...out of 10 who make the play offs? Some a lot better. That at 8 runs a game we will be behind a lot of teams soon.
Not a lot of teams I suspect have given up 8 runs or more a game for 3 consecutive games. How many games in a row do you have to do that for it to matter. 4, 5 6....

Did you know that the 30th best qualifying ERA in the AL for a starting pitcher this year is 5.02? There are a shitload of runs being scored this year... |

Anyway, bring on Robbie Ray. He’s a little bit wild, but he’s K’d 11.8 per nine over the past 4 seasons and is only 27. They can have Frazier. They’ll want a decent pitching prospect or two. No Deivi. Other than that.., I’m in. I’d do Loasiga...
