You wonder if they just never pursued Bauer or if Cleveland just flat refused to consider a trade with us. We had a lot of chips to trade. |

You wonder if they just never pursued Bauer or if Cleveland just flat refused to consider a trade with us. We had a lot of chips to trade. Cleveland wanted and got an OF. Our best “outfielder” can’t field and was already dumped by Cleveland. Unless we were going to trade Tauchman, which I would not do, we weren’t matched up with Cleveland’s needs. |

Yankees really holding cards close to their vest....usually there is some chatter this close to the deadline....less than three hours now....I'm good either way, use the cards we have, or try to draw an ace....if the injury epidemic continues we are in a difficult way even adding a pitcher...

Weird seeing the mets and reds getting two of the bigger name starters on the block out there being quite a distance from even a wc spot but I guess those deals are more for 2020. Though 6 games is not insurmountable.

When Cash does something usually it isn’t what people have been talking about them doing. Quite possible nothing happens but I feel like most often he surprises us. |
