Slider above middle, but Wells misses late and under, pops to Martin in shortish left center, inning over. Yanks go quietly in the 7th, Just 12 pitches for Jackson, 28 for his 2 innings.

I'm used to Gameday being a few seconds ahead of the YES cast, not used to ESPN's scoreboard being 10-15 seconds ahead of the TNT NBA broadcast. I noticed that too during the Knicks/Sixers series, Yahoo's scored board was ahead of the TV broadcast.

Bottom 7, 5-1 Yanks. Santana, Farmer and Vazquez for the Twins Pacers on a run, have cut the Knic lead in half. Hart off of a Hartenstein offensive rebound, and the lead is back to 10 with 8 minutes left in the 3rd.

Rodon stays in there to start the 7th. Surprising, he starts the inning at 97 pitches Curve misses up and away, 1-0 FB misses there too, 2-0 FB at the knees, 2-1 FB waist high, outer 3rd, lined to left for a hit And Boone takes out Santana, so what was the point of that?
Well, he only allowed one baserunner before lifting him, so it's not that bad. Just pointless Hamilton coming in, Twins will pull their lefty platoon off the bench and their dangerous, Kiriloff, Larnach, Kepler, Julien. All except Kiriloff having very good years, so far.

Julien begins the parade of lefties off the bench. Slider inside, 1-0. Slider near middle thigh high, pulled through the right side for a single, and immediately, Hamilton and the Yanks in trouble this inning. Vasquez up 1st and 2nd, nobody out.

Takes a sinker below the waist near middle, 0-1 Fouls off a slider, 0-2 Slider at the bottom outer 3rd, lifted to right, caught by Soto, runners hold. Kepler having by far his best season so far, will pinch hit for Martin with 1st and 2nd, 1 down. Kepler 0-1 vs. Hamilton a RBI groundout.

FB in the zone up and in, taken, 0-1 Better than down and in, I guess Fb in the zone low and away, Kepler goes with it down the line in left, but it slices foul near the corner, 0-2 Slider bounced over home at 89, thrown too hard. 1-2 Decent slider well below the knees, inner half, spoiled.

Wells goes out to talk to Hamilton for a moment... Throws the slider harder at 91, it gets below the zone inner 3rd, but Kepler pulls it foul toward the Twins dugout. Slider inside above the knees, popped foul down the right side, he's getting closer, try something else. And they did, Sinker starts inside at 97, does the Maddux thing, dives back to the corner and get the ꓘ. Great pitch sequencing there after three sliders down and in. 2 down.
