Good solid slider goes below the knees, and Jeffers foul tips it into the mitt, great hold by Wells, who shows it to the ump, K, inning over.
Good job by Hamilton after the hit by Julien.
Top 8, 5-1 Yanks.
Cabrera, then back to the top for Volpe and Soto, probably against a different Twins releiver.
Knic have blown it open again, up by 22 with 4:10 left in the 3rd.

Steve Okert, who was once the Marlins' closer for about 5 minutes, comes in for the Twins.
FB 92-3 about 1/3 of the time
Slider about 80 the other 2/3 of the time

Okert fires a FB or sinker low away, gets away from Vazquez, so Volpe's bunt attempt result is achieved, man on 2nd, 1 out for Soto.

Inside look bluff to 2nd gets Volpe to come back
Slider drops into the high outside corner, Soto doesn't get the Soto-call 1-1
Slider up in the zone, Soto tries to murder it, fouls it back, 1-2
Sinker waist high outside corner, Soto tries to go back up the middle, but the grounder goes right to Correa, it's behind Volpe so he takes off for 3rd, and Correa doesn't even look, throws out Soto. Volpe on 3rd with 2 down for Judge.

Twins IBB Judge immediately.
Verdugo 0-1 vs. Okert.
Takes a FB up and in, 1-0
FB inside middle, hit well to left center, but not well enough, the fliner is caught in the gap by Margot without much trouble. Okert didn't like that hit, jumped up and down as if he gave up a double, but that was never in danger of not being caught.
Bottom 8, 5-1 Yanks.
2-3-4 for the Twins, Correa, Castro and Miranda.
Knic up by 21 after 3 quarters, 96-75. Apparently the Pacers went more than half the quarter without scoring a field goal.
I must say I am very surprised by this unexpected pleasant turnaround after Sunday.

Rays-Red Sox went extra innings. Neither scored in the 10th. Rays got a run home in the top of the 11th, but the Sox have tied it, and have a man on 2nd with 2 outs in their half. 4-4 bottom 11.
