Another low strike call on Judge.  Change was actually a 5-10% strike on Gameday. Statcast K zone always gives 3-4 more inches top and bottom and says it was a 100% strike. |

Hanging slider above middle, Jimenez misses and pops it to Volpe, 2 down on 5 pitches.
And Benintendi gets a FB down the middle at 96, goes after it, is late and under, hits a high fly over 3rd, Verdugo races over the line, almost overruns, has to reach back to catch it. Inning over.
1-2-3 on 6 pitches for Gil in the 3rd, and 51 total through 3.
Bottom 3, 4-1 Yanks.
Verdugo, Stanton and Rizzo for the Yanks in their half of the 3rd.

Excellent quick inning from Gil! Another solid play by Verdugo, as it looked like a scenario for a "watch the ball fall between two fielders trying avoid a collision."

I get the impression watching those back to back 1st pitch outs that the White Sox are mentally starting to throw in the towel already.
