Slider misses 3-4 inches outside, called strike 1 anyway, bad call, 0% and not close.

Slider into the top outside popped out of play back of 1st, 1-2
Sinker way outside, 2-2
Slider waist high, outside corner, again spoiled.
Change in almost the same spot, lined down the right side, but it slices just foul
2nd pd underway, still 1-0 Panthers, 2:20 into the 2nd
FB in the zone up and away, fouled. Volpe working a long at bat here, at least.
Cutter yanked way outside and low, 3-2. Raleigh did well to keep that from being a WP.
FB overthrown high, ball 4, getting Soto a swing with bases loaded and 2 down.
Great at bat by Volpe against a guy he's probably never faced before.

Change just outside, tries to go the other way again, fouls it, 0-2
Soto takes his timeout
Then swings over a cutter down and in for the K, inning over.
Top 8, 5-0 Yanks.
Weaver in for the 8th maybe?
Whoever it is, they face the top of the order, Crawford, Rodriguez and Garver.

The Rangers look like a different team to start the 2nd. They've adjusted to the Panthers' trap and are beating it with longer passes and dumps, leading to a few good chances early. I'm not sure if this style matches well with the Rangers' skills, but it's at least looking better in the short term.
