This is what happens when Verdugo hussles. Also when a first baseman becomes the second baseman because the second baseman you traded for isn’t a real secon baseman. It’s only a side note but the shortstop you signed had to be moved to second base because he wasnt that good at shortstop, and this was a couple years after you moved your short stop to right field because he wasn’t all that good at shortstop. Got all of that? 🤓… |

have we ever seen Judge THIS hot? On May 2, Judge was hitting .197 with a .725 OPS. Now he's at .281 and 1.055. |

Cutter misses 3-4 inches low, outer half, called a strike anyway, not even close, 0% on Gameday is putting it mildly. 1-1
Cutter inside corner fouled off, 1-2
Slurve way low, even Miller doesn't call that one, 2-2
Cutter below the knees, Cronenworth drops the bat on it and hammers it to deep right center, but Soto gets the jump and takes a good route, hauls it in on the track, 2 down and Profar goes back to 1st.

Sinker at the knees, inner half, 0-1 on Machado.
Cutter in the zone low and away, and Machado tries to pull and barely misses, flies out to fairly deep left, Verdugo had no trouble with it, inning over.

Nice play for our horrible right fielder, right?… And, some said he needed to be a DH. The strongest arm in the outfield is Verdugo's in left. The best arm (strength and accuracy) belongs to Aaron Judge. |

Torres fouls off a FB in the zone up and away, 0-1 Slider outside, 1-1 Slider low, chased, 1-2 Slider bounced, not chased, 2-2 FB at the top, Torres late and under, fouls it off. |
