Helped by the Padres not sending Cronenworth down by on the medium deep fly to left by Machado, but Stroman battles his way out of another jam without aallowing him to score.
Top 5, 4-0 Yanks.
15 pitches for Stroman in the 4th, and 65 through 4.
Cabrera, then back to the top for Volpe and Soto for the Yanks in the 5th.

Calf strains and pulls take a long time to heal, and they are easy to strain and pull again. Feel sorry for Berti, he was playing very well.

Slider bounced inside, Soto checks and may have swung, but gets the no swing call, 2-2

Either one could've been strike 3. Soto sorta lucky.
