Cutter bounced gets away from Campusano a bit, Verdugo comes down a long way from 3rd, goes back.
Slider at the knees, in the middle, lifted to medium deep right center, Merrill catches but has no chance to throw out Verdugo, excellent job by Torres on the sac fly, 4-0 Yanks!

Cronenworth leads off the 4th, followed by Machado and Peralta
Takes a cutter at the top, 0-1
Splitter outside, 1-1
Cutter in the drop the bat happy zone, and Cronenworth hammers it down 1st and into the corner, where it bounces around, alloweing Cronenworth to steam all the way around to 3rd with a leadoff triple.

Slurve outside knee high, Machado pulls a fliner to medium deep left, would normally score the run, but Verdugo has a strong arm, and with nobody out down by 4, the Padres hold him
Good thing too, because the throw got away from Wells a bit, and was well up the 1st base line. 1 down.

Splitter on the low outside corner, and Peralta chases and hits a pop to short left, Verdguo races in, makes the catch, runs it back in, holding Cronenworth at 3rd again. 2 down.
