Braves have rallied with 4 in the 5th and 6th, lead the Sox 6-3, top 7 at Fenway.

Trying to remember the last time a Yanks' pitcher has looked as dominant as Gil over the last month. He's been almost unhittable. Guidry in ‘78. That’s the only one… Cone had a run for the Yankees that was incredible. Had like a 0.57 ERA for month or so. Not sure if that was 1998 before he got bitten by his mother's dog. |

Slider misses well low/away to lewis, 1-0
Change low in the zone outside middle, and lewis starts and stops, takes strike 1
Bad hanging sinker up and in, and Lewis jumps all over it, belts it into the Twins bullpen, solo HR makes it a 3-1 game, and maybe that's why Gil pitched around him twice.

Have you tried melatonin? Works for a lot of people. I may try it again now that I’ve been off the Ambien for a while. It’s really bad right now… My doctor told me I should get off of it, but I think the reason was lame. “They” did some testing and and found the amount of melatonin tended to vary from the stated amounts in some bottles. If that’s true, then that would be true also of my daily vitamins, my B-6, my B-12… What it IS is propaganda distributed by the FDA to keep us paying the big bucks for the medicines big Pharma pushes down our necks… I hate that they’re allowed to advertise on TV. Ask your doctor for : drives me nuts… Soon we'll see ads for drugs to treat an "infection in the skin of the perineum" caused by the other drugs. |

FB in more or less the same area, but in the zone, taken for a strike, 2-1
Change outside, grounded toward the middle, Torres backhands and throws on the move, good stretch by Rizzo saves the play, 2 down.

Swings over a change diving low, 2-2
Tries the sidestep change to quick pitch him a bit, and he yanked it low and outside, 3-2
Change above middle, fouled. Bad location, but got away with it.
Change starts middle, moves inside 3rd, and Buxton tops it to DJ at 3rd, throws him out, inning over.
Bottom 7, 3-1 Yanks.
18 pitches for Kannle in his inning, so he's not going any further.
Trevino, LeMahieu and back to the top for Volpe in the 7th.

Uhhh, Flats? Gil probably didn't call that slider off the plate on 3-2 himself, ya know? It was almost certainly his...uh...catcher...Trevino, who called it. You would think that Flaherty of all people would give the catcher some props on that one. Yeah, you'd think, but you'd have been wrong. |

Can you ask dome if he got my text thanking him for what he sent? He never replied. He didn’t reply to mine either. He was in what he called six days of hell.. it’s getting worse, Kaybli. I asked him to identify a couple people in a photo. I’ll wait til he answers to push him any further… Sorry to hear that. I'll be praying for him. |
