I remember him when I was a very young Yankee fan. I thought it was funny that he wore #66 back when the Yankees didn't retire the entire set of lower numbers. He had some power! Low average Kevin Maas type. |

Cabrera, sinker low, 1-0 Slider low in the middle, swung over, 1-1 Slider on the low inside corner, 1-2 Slider low and in, 2-2 Same slider almost in the same spot, 3-2 Sinker maybe low, called strike 3 anyway, ꓘ. Low average Kevin Maas type. I had an irrational hatred for Balboni when I was a yoot and he played for the Royals. I think it was because he always looked like an asshole on his baseball cards. I remember being pissed when the Yankees signed him in the early 90's. |
