As I have done in re-enacting scenes from other songs, in Kansas City I stood on the corner of 12th Street and Vine. With my Kansas City baby (my wife) and a bottle of Kansas City wine, purchased for just that occasion. I have also deliberately in San Francisco sat on the dock of the bay. Wasting time, much to my wife's chagrin. Heard there's some crazy little women there... ...but are you gonna...get you one? Sinker low, ball 6. Sinker below the outside corner, bounced softly to 3rd, Cabrera charges and does the smart thing again, takes the safe out at 1st, rather than try for an impossible DP anywhere, 1 down, 2nd and 3rd for Melendez. |

Sounds as bad as head cheese... Two things: 1) Liver mush is fried (if not eaten as is). Period. And BBQ is a noun, not a verb. 2) A fried mush and egg sandwich with mayo and mustard is ambrosia. |

Chases a terrible back leg slurve, 2-1
Backs the sinker into the zone up and in, Melendez takes, 2-2
Cutter well high, outer half, 3-2
Takes his timeout late.
Cutter inside corner above the waist, popped to short right of center. Torres and Volpe both come over, Volpe calls, catches, then quickly makes a hard flip throw to hold Witt at 3rd. Witt not going there, down by 7. 2 down.

Thanks, inger. Slurve misses outside at the knees, 1-0 on Velazquez Slider further outside, 2-0 Cutter hits the low outside corner, taken 2-1 Bounces a slider outside, 3-1 Pulls off a cutter that goes down near the corner low/away, swung over, 3-2 Slider misses about 6 inches outside at the bottom, but Velazquez doesn't chase, ball 4. Stroman at 25 pitches this inning and 102 total, and Boone has seen enough. Don't like Marinaccio coming in with bases loaded, but he does have a 7 run lead here, and Stroman is almost certainly gassed by now. |
