Verdugo in a slump. Fallen off a cliff since that first Red Sox game. But his great, what looked to be game-saving play, in last night's game was wasted. With everyone of the position players used...except for Aaron Judge.

Marinaccio in Slider hits the low inside corner, 1-0 Then hits him with a FB running inside. Marrinaccio providing relief...to the O's.

Waldo with some bad luck on that grounder, which always seems to happen as soon as you change positions.

When you’re on the wrong end of a laugher, does that make it a crier?…

Even when Henderson makes an out, he drives in a run.

The website crashed out on me for a minute So I missed Henderson's force, DJ to Cabrera, scoring a run, 12-5 O's.

Just popping in to ask: Do we think teams finally have enough tape on Gil? Is his OMG start going to turn pedestrian now? Or is he just in a little slump?

I respected Murcer as the “replacement” for Mantle…Sadly he didn’t get to play on too many of the better Yankee teams…

Rutschman walks, firs and 2nd, 1 down for Mountcastle. Pickoff throw to 2nd, Henderson gets back. 1-2 on Mountcastle.

Just popping in to ask: Do we think teams finally have enough tape on Gil? Is his OMG start going to turn pedestrian now? Or is he just in a little slump? Teams are starting to get a book and adjust. it wasn't going to go on like that forever,. It never does, especially when a pitcher has no credible breaking pitches. The tough part is the same thing Severino had; not enough pitches. Gil is a 2 1/2 pitch pitcher, meaning he has to find a 3rd or even 4th pitch he can go to to get them off his FB and change. Even Cole had 4 pitches, then ADDED a cutter after he came to the Yanks. Mountcastle chases a slider well low outside middle for the K.

Rice hasn’t frightened me too much at first so far…

O'Hearn gets ahead 2-0, then rolls over on a change away to Rice at 1st. Takes it to the bag, inning over. O's again answer the Yanks small rally, lead 12-5 going bottom 6.
Rice, LeMahieu and Trevino for the Yanks in the 8th.

Baker still in there for Baltimore FB hits the high outside corner, 0-1 on Rice Slider backs up outside, chased and fouled, 0-2 Pitch clock violation again, 1-2 Change well within the zone, another terrible call, at 3 least 3 inches in the zone both ways down and in taken and not called, 2-2. Two atrocious zone calls today on clear 100% strikes. Huge break for Rice Fb well outside near the bottom, 3-2 Change bounced near the corner inside, ball 4 Uhhh....Kay, about Rice's 'eye". If the 1-2 change is called correctly, that's an easy ꓘ.
