Sinker outside corner above the waist, grounded softly up the middle, Torres tries to backhand in front of 2nd, boots it. Man on 1st, 2 down.

Sinker on the outer 3rd, waist high, strike 1 on Rutschman. Fb misses up and away, 1-1 Sinker low away in the zone, chopped to Toores, he jumpt to grab it fires home to nail Henderson by at least 10-15 feet. Man on 1st, 1 down for Mountcastle. Bad send there. Tim Hill on the mound. Ironically, the “H” is pronounced like. “G”. How was the appointment, Inger? |

Seeing the score… I’m going to run a few more errands before I go home… Take your time, this one is ugly. Yankees need a defining moment in their history to win this one. I sat down about three or four pitches before it got a lot worse… 11-3…our new relief “help” may not be here long… |

Sinker inside to Mullins, rolls it over to Torres, throws him out, inning over.
O's add 3, negating the Yanks' runs for today, and have their biggest lead today, 11-3, going bottom 5.
8-9-1 for the Yanks: Trevino, Cabrera and Volpe.

Judge takes a FB inside corner waist high, 0-1 Takes a FB inside, 1-1 FB inner 3rd near the corner, fouled down the right side. O's challenging the hand, seeing if he can handle fastballs inside. Maybe he can't handle those, but he can handle a mediocre FB just below and outside middle at 93, belts it deep into the bleachers in right center, Yanks get 2 more back, trail 8-3! Good to see the hand is OK, at least.   |

the 2nd hit the high outside corner, 1-1
The 3rd is near the top outside middle, popped foul to Mountcastle, 1 down.
Ok, about this whole they're playing close game, well, yes, and no.
The O's have won 3 of the 5 close games, but assuming this one stays the way it is, both blowouts.
The hallmark of the great team is to blowout opponents, especially good opponnents.
Right now, up and down the roster, the O's are better. Yanks can match them, maybe slightly better in the top 4-5 spots on the roster, but the O's have them by a lot in spots 6-26.

Change misses low on the inner half, 3-1
FB inside middle ON 3-1, and Volpe is late and under a 90 mph FB fouling it off. Sigh.
THAT'S WHAT HE SHOULD HAVE DONE WITH THE PITCH BEFORE. Good job, Volpe
FB just above middle, inside outed past first to the corner in right, gets himself a double, Cabrera to 3rd with 1 down.

Pitcher time violation, 1-2. Took too long.
Soto gets a hanging curve at the top of the zone, grounded down the 1st base line, but Mountcastle sitting right on it, fields, flips to irvin, two down, Cabrera scores and Volpe to 3rd. 11-4 O's.
