Sinker misses outside, by 2 inches, called a strike anyway, 1-1. Bad call there. 0% on Gameday
Sinker in the zone near the high inside corner, 1-2
Makeup call?
FB either just on or just off the low inside corner, 2-2. d'Arnaud had to catch it with the mitt moving away from the plate, didn't get that call, 2-2
Sinker well outside 3-2. Can't remember the last time Cabrera takes 5 pitches in a row.
And it pays off. FB above middle, lined to the gap in right center, cut off by Laureano who throws to 2ndRice scores easily, and Wells, running on the 3-2 pitch is able to score all the way from first, Albies relay home is way too late. 2-run single makes it 6-1 Yanks!!!
Great job by both Oswaldo and Wells on that one.

Volpe takes a slider into the zone up and away, 0-1
Takes another outside middle, 0-2
Gets a sinker waist high, outer 3rd, bounces it down the 1st base line into the corner, Laureano cuts it off, holding Cabrera at 3rd.
2nd and 3rd, 2 down for Soto.

Slider misses down and in, 2-2
Slider misses low on the corner away, 3-2

FOX broadcast freezing repeatedly for a moment each time, very annoying
FB waist high, outer 3rd, fouled off.
Slider well outside and a bit low, Soto checks in time, ball 4. And that's it for Aaron, whose relief appearance was...ahem...a bummer for the Braves.

Have we heard anything about Stanton being pinch hit for? FOX guys seemed to think he hurt himself rounding 3rd when he scored his last time up. And I was premature, they pitching coach came out, but they didn't bring a righty for Judge. Sinker gets a tiney piece of the low inside corner, not called 1-2% on Gameday Sinker inside at the knees, 2-0 Sinker misses just low/away 3-0 Sinker hits the low inside corner, 3-1 Tries for the same pitch, misses an inch low on the inside corenr, ball 4, forcing home Cabrera, 7-1 Yanks!. |
