Just re-watch 2022 season, same result. Sadly this is really shaping up to be the same... I don't see how it will turn around.. The only hitters on the team are Soto and Judge

It's nice to see Soto drive the ball again. Well, yeah, certainly, but...situation. Judge misses a sinker outside, 0-1 Takes a change for a ball, 1-1 FB near the corner ties him up just enough, fly to fairly deep right center, caught by Bader, 1 down.

Torres... Takes a curve down and in, 1-0 FB high, 2-0 Sinker outside 3-0 Spins away from a get it over sinker on the inner 3rd, can't fake the ump, 3-1 Fb missed up and away, ball 4. Torres walks. yay.

I was discouraged, I decided to fold laundry and missed Soto's homer.

Verdugo takes a sinker inside, 1-0 Takes a sinker low/away 2-0 Takes a slider bounced over the middle, 3-0 Takes a sinker that barely gets a piece of the low/outside corner, great 3-0 pitch Sinker outer 3rd, fouled it down, then it hits the bat on the follow through on the way back up, 3-2 Fouls off a sinker, still 3-2 Sinker low, ball 4. Back to back walks knock Peterson out of the game. He's done at 103 pitches, Mets will bring a righty to face Davis. Yanks only got 1 run off Peterson and he struck out 8 and walked 5, including 2 in the 1st and two more this inning. Disman effort by the bats so far. And by Cole as well.

I was discouraged, I decided to fold laundry and missed Soto's homer. Can't blame you for that, desousa; at least you got something productive done. Unlike the Yanks.

JD Davis fitting right end grounding into a inning ending DP.

Just what this lineup needed, another glue foot to hit into DP's.

Dedniel Nunez...I don't know anything about him. And I still don't know anything about him, except that he has a 96 FB, that he threw waist high, inside corneer, and that Davis rolled over to Vientos at 3rd, and he started a soul-crushing 5-4-3 DP to kill what little life the Soto HR gave the Yanks.
Bottom 5, 6-1 Mets. 4-5-6 for the Mets: Alonso, Alvarez and Taylor. Almost certainly won't be Cole for the 5th. I think.

And it isn't Cole, Bickford in. Mets should know him, he pitched in the NL the last few years.

Alonso... Maybe gets a tiny piece of the low outside corner with a slider, taken, called a ball. 0-1% on Gameday, very marginal. FB outside, 2-0 FB outside middle, swung under it, 2-1 FB in the zone low/away, Alonso puts a decent move on it, doesn't get it all, lifts a fiiner to Soto in fairly deep right, caught a few steps from the track, 1 down.
