Takes a FB off the plate inside, bad call, called strike 2 anyway, missed by 2-3 inches on Gameday
Takes a sinker inside, 1-2
Spoils a waist high change on the corner away.
Peterson gets sets, looks in, and steps off.
Sinker above the knees on the inside corner, bounced foul off 3rd.
Slider in the middle, knee high, Trevino goes right with, lines it up the middle for a hit, nearly taking Peterson's head off. DJ stops at 2nd, down by 3 and two down.

Cole 0 K's ... should have had reinforcement surgery I dont care what anyone else has to say about its a thing and works
I expect cole to be avg from this point on unless he is shudown and has surgery which will lead to him missing next season

Volpe guesses FB or sinker, swings way early and well off the change well outside, 0-1
Arrggggg!!!
Got a change down the middle, and fouls it almost straight back, 0-2
Tried to tie the game on that swing, missed under it.
Big slow curve fools him completely, swings over it as it drops well low for the K, inning over. Set up by the flail at the 1st pitch change, trying to do too much to turn the game.
Bottom 4, 3-0 Mets. You know, if DJ walks and Trevino singles in the same inning, even with 2 outs, you have to get something out of that.
19 pitches for Peterson in the 4th, and 84 through 4.
7-8-9 for the Mets: Vientos, McNeil and Bader.

FB in the zone to the high outside corner at 92.3 lined hard to right, hits the very top of the walk, bounces over for his 2nd HR of the game. I know Vientos has been a very good prospect, but Cole should be doing a lot better than this against him, and I'd take Cole out right now, faking an injury if I had to. His stuff is way down and something is wrong.
