Terrible call, 3-4 inches outside on Gameday Takes a splitter low Takes another splitter low and just outside, 2-1 Fb up in the zone, fouled Splitter misses low near the corner inside, 3-2 Splitter misses low near the middle, ball 4. Another good patient at bat by Rice, 1st and 2nd, nobody out. Maybe Wells bunts? Love Rice's patient approach to hitting. So far his at bats look like an old school Yankee at bats. |

FB misses about 4-5 inches high near the corner inside, another awful call, not close, and Lemahieu is angry, because he can't catch up to that no how, no way.
Splitter low on the inner half.
FB in the zone a bit up and in, foul tipped into the mitt (and that's what he can't catch up to, anymore)
Same pitch and DJ is late and under, fouls it off.
Now he might try a splitter, DJ sped up his swing to catch up to that 96 FB.
Looks Torres back to 2nd.

We’re supposedly talking to the Cubs about Bellinger. I guess we’d say goodbye to either Rice or Davis…unless Rice is going to DH vs. RHP until Stanton returns… In my opinion, since they are both versatile players there's room on the Yankees for Rice(1B, C, DH) and Bellinger (OF, DH, 1B). |

Did come with the split but missed way low, easy take.
Sinker runs well inside, taken, 3-2
Goes with the 96 FB to the high inside corner and DJ spoils it.
Waist high FB inside corner, lined to the gap in left center, Keirmaier manages to cut it off, Torres scores, Rice to 3rd, DJ hustles into 2nd with a RBI double, 5-1 Yanks!!
Big hit for DJ.
And that's it for Gausman.

Misses a cutter outside middle 1-1 on Grisham.
Cutter misses just low on the corner away, Jays wanted it but Gameday says 0% by a smidgen.
Takes his timeout
Gets a cutter down and in on the corner, tries to wait on it, but can't, pulls it foul, 2-2
Takes a FB well low near the corner away, 3-2
