No reason to swing on that 2-0 cutter down and in, but he swung over it. If he homers on that pitch, they're still down 1.
Cutter backing up well high would've been ball 4, but it's 3-1, at least.

OK, cutter inside is ball 4 anyway, so the Yanks get the tying run at the plate for at least Volpe and probably Soto as well.

Volpe gets a hanging cutter inside middle, and belts it to the gap in left center, goes to the wall, a 2 run double and the Yanks are back in it!!
3-2 now, with Soto and Judge still due.

Bounces a splitter inside, 2-1, gets away from Stephenson, wild pitch moving Volpe to 3rd with 1 out. Infield in now.
Bounces anothere splitter, but this one gets blocked.
Cutter hits the corner inside up in the zone, 3-2
Splitter bounced again, ball 4
1st and 3rd, 1 out for Judge. Anythig can happen here.

They go out and talk things over. Will they walk or pitch around Judge and go after Davis?
I might if I were them, but it puts the go-ahead run at 2nd.
