Devers takes a sinker outside and just below middle, 0-1
Holmes throw a sharp sinker that gets a piece of the corner down and in, taken, 0-2
Slider backs up and away, 1-2
Sinker at 98 winds up low in the zone outside middle, fouled hard off Wells' thigh.
Slider well down and in, Devers swing like he knew it was coming and fouls it
Bounces a sinker near the corner away, 2-2
Slider misses inside, from 0-2 to 3-2
Sinker knee high outer 3rd, chopped foul down 1st.
Holmes' command isn't good enought o just throw sinker after sinker in the zone.
Sinker below the inner half at 97, spoiled
10th pitch coming.

Slider winds up in the middle of the zone, but Devers set for the 97-8 sinker, is early and tops it to the right of the mound, Holmes is right there, fields and throws him out, 1 down. Whew.

Sinker misses high, outer half, 1-0
Slider snaps ont to the outer 3rd, below the waist, 1-1
Sinker got a piece of the zone at the knees near middle, but moves so much, that Wells backhands awkwardly and blows the call, 2-1
Sinker outside, knee high, 3-1
Sinker inside corner ties him up a big, he taps it toward short, Volpe charges, fields and throws out Wong, 2 down.

Takes a sinker low on the inner half, called a strike anyway. 5$ on Gameday, so OK, not a ball.
Slider misses well down an in, 1-1
Sinker misses outside, 2-1
Slider into the top of the zone, in the middle bounced hard to the right of 2nd, gets into center for a 2 out single, and Yoshida is the tying run at the plate now.
He's 0-3 vs. Holmes witha K.
