Gets a slider in a great location to high, right down the middle, thigh high, but fouls it back. Sigh, that was the pitch.
Tries to hit the back door with another slider misses low/away, count goes full.
Great spoil on a slider that made it back to the outside corner, waist high.
Professional hitting test here for Wells, hope he can pass it, and a walk here is a passing grade
Fb up and in, spoiled
Takes a slider aimed for the corner away, but it misses outside 3-4 inches for ball 4.
Young Mr. Wells, you have passed the test. Verdugo scores on the bases loaded walk, Yanks lead, 5-4.
