FB misses high, outside middle 1-0, on Soto. Fooled by the change going low, 1-1, swung over. Change tails outside, Soto fooled again, and hurt that hand again on that swing. Don't guess, Boone, go out there and talk to him.

Completely fooled by the change diving outside near the knees, weak hack for the K. Inning over.
Bottom 7, 5-3 Rays, and Cash knows what he's doing, very easy 1-2-3 for Adam against the lefties and Cabrera.

I hate to say it, but Soto is going to have to take some time off for that hand… he’s not been himself…

Sox looking like they'll get the game back, leading the A's 7-0 in the 7th in Fenway. Cubs shut out the O's for the 2nd straight game, they outscored the O's a remarkable 21-2 in the 3-game series. Jays won their series in San Fran, winning today, 5-3.

I hate to say it, but Soto is going to have to take some time off for that hand… he’s not been himself… It's a recurrent injury. He hit two balls hard the first two times up. Don't know if he keep re-aggravating it, or keeps making it worse.

Arozareana, B. Lowe and Paredes vs. Cousins in the 7th.
Arozarena... Takes a slider outside middle, 0-1 Fouls off a sinker a bit above the slider, 0-2 Takes a slider into the top of the zone in the middle, ꓘ, 1 down.

The juggernaut Orioles are 2-5 in their last 7 losing 4 of those 5 to the A's and Cubs and being outscored 50-22 in those 7 games???? IMPOSSIBLE!!!

I don't like all the Boone hate, but when I watch us against the Rays and Sox, it always seems that Cash & Cora are 1 to 2 steps ahead of Boone

Lowe takes a slider on the corner away, 0-1 Swings over a slider going low, inner half, 0-2 Takes a slider down and in, 1-2 Slider on the outer half, thigh-high, fouled. Good slider down and in, Lowe does well to spoil it. Slider misses well low, inside middle, taken, 2-2 Sinker down and in, smacked hard off his foot, and he crumples to the ground in pain. Walking it off. He stays in. Slider stays waist high, outside corner, serves it over short into left center for a 1-out single.

Paredes takes a slider in a bad spot, just below and inside middle. Slider in the zone up and away, fouled off, 0-2 Slider was supposed to be outside, but he left it just outside middle at the knees, and he fouls it. Waves at a terrible slider well out of the zone, a Stantonian chase for the K.
