Austin Wells trying to bunt?  That may have been the ugliest bunt attempt I've ever seen. One Yankees MLB spring training camp, when the Scooter was a Special Instructor. He was trying to teach the Yankee players how to bunt, the power hitters on team, all they cared about hitting HRs, while some players like Willie Randolph, Roy White and some others took bunting practice with the Scooter. Later in the broadcasting booth, Bill White asked him how did the training session go, Phil replied " All Those huckleberry want to do is hit HRs." |
