He needs to sit for at least 3-4 games… He just had 4 days off. The whole team did except Judge and Soto, so to come out for this homestand in front of huge crowds and play this lifeless is absurd. Takes a change dropping to the knees inside middle, 0-2
Takes his timeout late.
Tries to get him to chase a FB way high, 1-2
Change away, grounded just past Adam as he falls to the right side of the mound and it finds a hole to the right of 2nd as the Rays are shifted to pull. Cabrera stops at 2nd with 1 out.
That's a DP ball if it's hit near a fielder, but maybe the Yanks and Soto deserved that break.

Slider outside, 1-0 on Judge
Change dives low/away 2-0
Big slow sweeper, he pulls off it and misses, wound up outer 3rd, waist high, 2-1
Slider starts inside, fools him clips the inner 3rd, taken, 2-2
Hangs the sweeper inside middle, and Judge demolishes it, 3 run HR to left makes it a 5-3 game!!!
OK, back to mostly dead.

Batters don't protect on pitches they think are well inside. and being able to throw 97 makes him decide too soon. |

Judge gets the job done! Now we just have to hope Soto and Judge come up again in the 9th for us to have a chance to score again!
