Goes with the slider away, hit it off the very end of the bat, the soft low flare gets through the left side, for a hit, another bad break for Gil. 1st and 2nd, nobody out for Taylor.

Ump holds Gil, makes him address the hitter. "Hello, hitter!" (Apologies to Ed Norton, the Honeymooners character) McNeil... FB at the top fouled off FB inside ties him up completely, he hits a dribbler down 3rd, DJ's only hope is to let it roll foul, but it doesn't, bad break for Gil to start the 5th, very cheap infield hit. Ed Norton quotes are always welcome Qwik. |

Taylor takes a slider at the top of the zone inner 3rd, 0-1
Gets a FB above that drives it to deepest left center, Verdugo races back, pulls up, it goes over him, should be a multi run extra base hit, but McNeil waits to see if it's caught, it bounces back to Judge, McNeil gets to 3rd late keeping the other runners at 2nd and 1st.
400 foot single for Taylor.
Blake goes out to settle Gil.

Chases another FB high, fouls it again.
Takes another FB high, 2-2
FB way high, pops it to short right, Soto comes in, gets set, makes a great throw, no one advances, 1 out, but now it gets tough, Lindor and Nimmo.
Paulie? He didn't get ahead with the slider; he only threw one and it was a ball that evened the count, 1-1.

Gil gets way under a change, misses up and away, ball 1
Misses way high with a FB outside corner, 2-0
FB in the zone up and in, jams him, fouled, 2-1
FB up and in hits Lindor on the elbow, forcing in a run, and Lindor is hurt, Mendoza and the trainer out to check on Lindor.
Game tied at 1, bases still loaded, 1 down for Nimmo.

Slider misses just up and away, ball 1.
Terrible slider thigh high, inside middle and he jumps all over it, pulls it down the line for HR distance, but Gil gets lucky as it hooks foul.
Change misses down and in, 2-1
Takes a slider just below the one he almost hit a grand slam on, he takes it for strike 2. Gil lucky again there.
Chases a FB about 3-4 inches outside above the waist for the K. Narvaez drops it, which made Kay think it was a foul tip, but he missed it, K. 2 down.
