Alonso takes a FB either just on or just off the corner inside, 0-1% on Gameday, called strike 1.
Cutter on the high outside corner, pulled off the end of the bat, the fliner/flare finds the 56 hole for a one out single.

A great defensive play in LF by Verdugo just to get to that ball and keep Alonso from scoring.

Vientos takes a change low and just outside, ball 1.
Gets a change in the zone, belts it into the corner in left, one hops to the wall, verdugo plays the carom, fires into 2nd, and the throw is on time, but a clever slider by Vientos gets his hand onto the bag before Torres can tag his chest. 2nd and 3rd, 1 down for McNeil.

McNeil takes a FB just inside, called strike one anyway, Weaver got a break, it missed by an inch or two on Gameday.
Mets bring iglesias to run for Vientos.
FB up and in, McNeil spins away, says he got hit, HP ump says no.

Starts to swing on the change way low, but he checks in plenty of time. Yanks appeal to 3rd, but the side view shows no swing clearly.
Weaver gets set, then steps off.
Coney suggests the FB up and away, and he throws it, but flies open and misses well up and away, 3-2
Now Coney says back to the change.
Out of the zone please. If he takes ball 4 is OK here, if he doesn't, it's a K
Flies open again on the exact same way, and FB misses in the exact same spot, up and away, ball 4, bases loaded, 1 out.

Change bounced near the outer 3rd, 2-1
Weaver unsure tonight without good command, comes set, steps off again.
Cutter waist high outside corner, Torrens lunges across home, misses, 2-2.
Torrens takes his timeout.
Hangs a bad change above middle, bounced foul off 3rd, never get a DP on that one anyway, still 2-2
Good two plane change starts thigh high outside corner, dives down and in below the knees,outer half, swung over for the K, 2 down.
