Takes a slider dropping above the waist inside corner corner, and Nunez has him boxed now. Can't take the slider, can't swing at it out of the zone.

Slider low, bounced down the line at 1st, goes near the bag, first base ump says it was just foul, and it was. Saves an out for the moment, as Alonso was right on it.
Wastes a 98 FB outside at the top just to change location, taken, 2-2.

Slider drops to the knees, outside middle, and he barely tops it foul near home.
Slider down and in shoutle work.
But he makes a mistake with a slider on the outer 3rd, Rice belts it to deep left center, but not enoudh, dies on the track, Bader catches right in front of the wall, runners go back, 2 down.
