Terrible 1st pitch slurve down the middle, and Lindor buries it into the Mets bullpen in left, three run bomb makes it 11-2 Mets. They can cut Ferguson anytime they want, AND I DON'T CARE IF THE ORIOLES SIGN HIM AND TURN HIM INTO A BULLPEN WEAPON. I've seen enough from him.

Imagine if "The Boss" was still running the team. How would he react to this mess?

Ferguson puts the cherry on top of this crap cake. Is Ancient Aliens on somewhere that can watch? Ferguson, another great Cashman pickup.

can it get any worse. a ball over judge's head. ocab blows an easy play at the plate. the ugliest game of the season. Lotsa competition for that title in the last six weeks, including the Sox running wild on Sunday night to kick off the collapse, and the 2nd game at Citifield, and the horrific beating Gil took at the Stadium from the Orioles. Nimmo walks. My pitch by pitch is lagging, but really, is anyone still following right now? Well, hell, Nimmo walks on 5 pitches, and Boone goes to get him I hope Boone argues the last call to Nimmo which hit the corner for a strike clearly, and get tosses. Another useless gesture at being comptetitve.

Imagine if "The Boss" was still running the team. How would he react to this mess? The boss would have come out of the tunnel and replaced Boone mid-game... and he'd tell Judge if he wants to remain captain, to start acting like one.

Imagine if "The Boss" was still running the team. How would he react to this mess? He would have fired Cashman years ago.

Walked dog, came home to a blowout. Last year it took 89 wins to get in the playoffs. We need to go 29-29 to get to 89 wins. Can this team do that?

And on cue: Yoendrys Gomaz. Martinez swings under a FB near the top. Gets a meatball, a FB outside middle, lined to right center, off the wall for a double.

It's Rick Dees night at the Stadium, except it's just for the Mets.

Alonso takes 3 pitches well out of the zone and a FB on the high inside corner is not called a strike, but ball 4. bad call, and so what?

WILL ALL THESE OVERPAID ANALYSTS STOPPING TELLING THE YANKEES TO BAT SOTO AND JUDGE ALL OVER THE LINEUP? NO MATTER WHERE YOU PUT THEM, THE LINEUP IS TWO GREAT HITTERS AND A MIX OF LOST VETERANS, STRUGGLING YOUNG PLAYERS AND GUYS WHO ARE FINISHED. NO MATTER WHAT YOU DO WITH SOTO AND JUDGE, IT'S STILL TWO HITTERS AND 7 HOLES OR NEAR-HOLES. THERE'S NOTHING TO DO UNLESS YOU GET SOME OF THEM GOING, OR BRING SOME OTHER GUYS IN! Wow, I wear hearing aids and I herad that no problem.
