Blowout in progress. Disgraceful to lose all four games to a mediocre Mets team. Hal is an absentee owner who roosts in Tampa most of the year. At least his Dad attended the majority of the home games.

M<Neil gets a slider in the middle knee-high, gets under it to right, Soto goes back some and catches, inning over.
Mets turn a one-sided game into a rout with 6 in the 8th, lead 12-2 going bottom 8.
If anyone cares: Verdugo, Davis and LeMahieu for the Yanks in the 8th.

Listen to these morons talking about a player pitching the 9th, as if Gomez threw 100 pitches in the 8th and won't at least throw 20 more in the 9th.

Made the mistake of checking back in, oofta. This team is just truly awful. Top to bottom. Take away either of Judge or Soto and they're probably A's/Chisox/Rockies awful.

The Yankees could bring back a king's ransom trading Soto as a rental and then resign him after the season, just as they did with Chapman. Quite frankly, that would be on the table for me if I'm GM.

I had the same thought, but I think Coney didn't want to make it so obvious that Ravech and Perez were just blabbing to have something to talk about. They really can't be that idiotic. I think. ============= Davis wastes no time, grounds a 1st pitch FB to Vientos for out #2. LeMahieu bothers to take a ball, then slaps a low change to Alonso, who flips to A. Young to end the inning. One more inning of this 糞, and the night will finally be over. Top 9, 12 -2 Mets. |

I'm starting to think Wells might be our leadoff guy. Good eye, walks a lot, tough abs, runs pretty well. Down side would be back to back lefties.
