Yanks get a BIG break, Judge goes, Wells takes a sinker that got a tiny piece of the corner down and in, the throw is short and to the 1st base side of 2nd, but I think Rafaela got the tag down, might've been a K-CS DP, instead it's a 2nd walk in a row.
Big big change. Yanks MUST TAKE ADVANTAGE.

Torres shows bunt and the Yanks get ANOTHER BREAK, as the sinker clips the top of the zone up and in, might've been strike 2 but wasn't, 10-15% on Gameday, 1-1
Cutter in the zone low away, Taken, 1-2
Slider outside at the knees, Torres chases and hits a soft grounder off the end of the bat to Hamilton, who makes a lightning backflip to Rafaela for the force, but was hit slowly enough to beat his hard throw to 1st and prvent a criplling DP. Still an RISP fail, pending what happens with Rice and Volpe.
1st and 3rd, 1 down, Rice due up, and the Sox will go to another lefty.

Slider starts at him, hangs high over the inner 3rd, backs him off, 2-2
Starts the slider at him, Wong holds it, but it barely missed inside, and Wong had to reach for it. Close by missed by an inch on Gameday.
That workds as a famous philosoper would say.
Slider inside middle, lifted to left of center, Duran catches, makes a strong throw, but not nearly in time, sac fly ties it at 6.

Volpe gets a cutter above middle, misses late and under, fouls it, missed a cookie, Anthony. 0-1
FB on the high inside corner at 96, fouled off, 0-2
Slider hangs outside 4-5 inches, 1-2
FB in the zone low/away, spoiled, fouled back and to the right.
Low sweeper in the middle, he opens up early and gets away with it, grounds it past Devers down the 3rd base line, hits the kickwell, Rafaela on the carom at 2nd, hold it to a single and holds Torres at 2nd with 2 down.

If Torres had any instincts he would have gone to second on that throw to the plate and we would now be up a run. The little things this team does not do.
