Gets a slider just outside middle goes with it, hits a fliner to left, but Refsnyder playing that way, catches near the track, 1 down.

Soto takes a splitter just low in the middle, 1-0
Takes a sinker that tails low and outside, 2-0
Slider backs up outside above the waist, 3-0
Bounces the splitter inside for ball 4.
1st and 2nd, 1 down for Judge.

This is way too obvious, but look for sinkers and splitters down and in to try to get a DP ball, or the slider low/away for the same purpose.

Slider misses low/away, Judge lays off, 2-0
Sticks a sinker at the knees, inner 3rd, probably DP ball if he goes after it, 2-1.
Slider thigh high, just outside middle, he gives it a ride to deep right center, but just off the end of the bat, goes to the track in right center, Duran catches, Cabrera tags and goes to 3rd with 2 down.

Another semi-stall, but he's staying in for Wells.

Slider to the knees, outer half, 0-1 on Wells.
Spltter ends up below the knees, middle and Wells grounds it sharply, but right to Westbrook, easy play, inning over.

Yanks get two on, but Judge just misses a 3 run bomb, and Wells can't get a 3rd hit.

Bottom 5, 4-2 Yanks. Rodon will have to deal with the Sox and the rain to qualify for the W.

Question: do you let Rodon pitch to Refsnyder again with men on base, shuld it come up? I guess they have to, given the state of the pen after the first two games.

Good idea, challenges with a waist high FB, outer 3rd, and Westbrook just misses under, high fly to right dies well short of the track, Verdugo does his Gene Kelly act, and catches, 1 down.
