Good Evening Ladies and Gentlemen! Looks like I missed a less than stellar performance by Luis Gil. Hey rizzuto, you and I arrived at the same time. I hope you're well my friend. I missed it too. This pitching staff better get their you know what, together.

Cutter misses down and in to Ramirez. Curve to the knees inside middle, courtesy take by Ramirez, 1-1 Splitter bounced, Ramirez checks, but not in time, 1-2. Spitter dives 2 planes, goes low near the corner away, Ramirez befuddled, way out front, K's, 2 down. Astonishing result.

J. Naylor takes a curve outside, called a strike anyway, bad call, 0% on Gameday, missed by 4-5 inches. Swings over a splitter down the middle but well low, 0-2 Splitter dives low/away, he lays off it, 1-2 Splitter hangs, but fortunately way high and a bit outside, Naylor chases and fouls it off. Splitter bounced over home, this one he takes, 2-2 Very good splitter starts near middle, dives to the corner low/away, swings early and over, K, 2 down. I'm shocked. And stunned.

Fry takes a sinker to the knees in the middle Kay just catching up with the fact Fry batting for Brennan last time, makes up some BS about this being a reverse splits PH move to 'take the splitter away from Leiter' Sweeper outside, ball 1 Curve into the top of the zone, 1-2 Splitter inside, taken, 2-2 Slider bounced outside middle, 3-2 Takes his timeout.

Splitter bounced over home, ball 4, getting the dangerous Noel in there with 2 down. Noel has big power, have to trick him somehow.

Leiter has allowed a baserunner in every inning he's pitched in pinstripes.

Sinker inside corner, huge hack fouled back. Sounded like he broke the bat, but I guess not, because he's not even checking. They have Fry picked, but the bad throw into the runner a bit, DJ lets it go off his mitt, kicks well down the RF sine, Fry all the way to 3rd with 2 down. Very bad play by DJ there, might have been gator-arming that throw a bit to avoid an injury. They get away with it: Noel tries to lift a splitter below the knees, outer half, pops to DJ, he comes in toward the mound a bit, but catches near the line, inning over.
Bottom 6, 3-3. Verdugo, Trevino and Volpe for the Yanks in their half of the 6th.

Leiter gets through unscathed. I can't post gifs from my phone, but if I could I'd post the Fred Sanford heart attack gif.

Verdugo gets a 1st pitch sinker waist high, inner 3rd, hit hard to the right side, Gimenez dives, knocks it down, gets behind him a bit, but he scrambles, recovers, and wheels to throw Verdugo out, 1 down.

Verdugo is kind of just useless now.

Leiter has allowed a baserunner in every inning he's pitched in pinstripes. Only one, this time. Well above average or him.
