Good Evening Ladies and Gentlemen! Looks like I missed a less than stellar performance by Luis Gil. Hey rizzuto, you and I arrived at the same time. I hope you're well my friend. I missed it too. This pitching staff better get their you know what, together. Hi Matt! I'm doing fine (slept really well last night!  ), just a little late from work, then talked for a while to a good friend of mine in California whose wife is in a medical facility, barely hanging on. Medical bills are just killing him. I've been there. Just wish I had the money I once did to help him out. He's a really good guy who has had some awful luck the last ten years - both to his health and his wife. Always keeps his sense of humor and never complains. Heart as big as house. Speaking of house, the Yankees are stinking it up. Can't anybody play this game other than Judge and Soto? |

Wow, slider at the knees in the middle is strike 3, not called, huge break, 70% on Gameday. Volpe got a gift there, 3-2

FB above and inside middle, and he goes back to his old swing, inside outside it hard through the right side for a single. I wish he did that most of the time.

Seeing those pictures of Nettles reminds me that today is his 8oth birthday. Happy Birthday Graig Nettles!!! Wow! Seems like yesterday, I was watching him put on a show at third in the entire 1978 playoffs and World Series. |

Really the one negative of the Soto trade. The Yanks could really use King and Vazquez right now, maybe even Brito. I was in a very small group of fans who did not think the trade was a great deal for he Yankees. That does not mean that Soto isn't a great player. He is King would be the #2 starter for this team right now! |

Spltter at the knees in the middle, grounded somewhat sharply but right back to Sandlin, who "pacifies" the Yanks with a 1-4-3 DP to end the inning.
