Rats. I’m not at home but was watching on the dots. What was Oswaldo doing?? 😡 He stepped out to reset after the count went to 3-2. Helsley was milling around behind the mound, and Cabrera didn't realize the clock was ticking on him to get back in the box, because Helsey was nowhere near the rubber. The umpire's buzzer went off, and that was a batter clock violation, strike 3. The really annoying thing was that OCab still had his timeout, and could've taken it, but he wasn't aware of what was happening. A rough lesson to learn in that spot, I hope he'll remember it. Can you imagine being a kid today, having to learn all these clock rules, and having to bring a clock to the game in order to be taught how to comply with the clock rules (in case they should they decide to try and have a career in the game)? Somehow I don't think this was the way baseball was originally meant to be enjoyed by kids. It's a shame how they've taken what used to be a fun game (both to play and watch), and managed to turn it into just another sport where time, and time violation rules, may decide the outcome of the game. Imagine if this would have happened with the bases loaded in the final inning of game 7 of the World Series, with the Yankees losing by 1 run. smh.

didn't see the game but just another of those games where we get shut down by a pitcher who shouldn't be shutting us down. warren's not ready for prime time. can't wait for clark to get back. margin of defeat was supplied by leiter.
stanton just missed by maybe a foot. wells continues to make a case for starting every day. jazz on fire and a two hits for volpe. but when soto & judge don't hit, we often don't win. hopefully the martian is up tomorrow.
