Nestor gets a bad call on a FB on the corner up and in, 70% on Gameday, called ball 1 anyway.
Cutter hangs on the high outside corner, Nootbaar hammers it up the middle to the left of 2nd for a single, Walker stops at 2nd with nobody out.

Scott takes a FB up and away for ball 1.
Cutter outside middle, bunted to the right of the mound, Rizzo charges, gloves and fires a strike to Chisholm for the force. Good to have a real defender at 1st again, anyway, regardless of what he hits. 1st and 2nd, 1 down for Winn. Outstanding play by Rizzo.

They try to pick Nootbaar but he gets back.
Cutter on the high inside corner, swung under. 0-1
Cards might have been trying a double steal, but Nootbaar leaves too early, gets trapped by Nestor, the Yanks run him down and tag him for out #2, and weirdly, the speedy Scott stays at 1st while this is going on.

Cortes gets a makeup call on a slider 3-4 inches outside, doesn't really make up for ball 4 to Baker.
Cutter on the inside corner fouled, still 0-2
Change on the outside corner, served to right for a single, Baker stops at 2nd with 1 out.

I love Dugo's energy BUT this team has been getting spanked by bad teams. I'm tired of the slumps and bad plays. This team needs a shot of adrenaline and Jasson would bring it.
