Wells jumps a 1st pitch slider/cutter low in the zone outside middle, lined to the gap in left-center, cut off deep, but both runs score anyway, a 2-run single makes it 3-0, Yanks!!

Gets under a FB in the zone up and away, got under it, and the wind knocks it down, Bellinger a few steps to his left, catches, 1 down.

Arggg. Fat FB waist high, inner 3rd, he's late and under, fouls it back to the left.
FB at the high outside corner, spoiled.

Rizzo takes a 1st pitch FB that ends up just below the high outside corner, strike 1.
Well, starts for 2nd, or bluffs, and then loses a skate blade trying to hold up, falls down, easy pickoff ends the inning.
Bottom, 3, 3-0 Yanks.
25 pitches in the 3rd for Wicks and 65 through 3.
Amaya, then back to the top for Happ and Busch in the 3rd for the Cubs.

Change way outside, 1-0 on Busch.
Slider backs up to nearly the same spot as the change, 2-0
Change waist high, outer 3rd, hit hard to 1st, but Rizzo spears, gives Gil a good toss and he beats Busch to the base to end the inning.
Top 4, 3-0 Yanks. Easy in pitches, just 6 pitches, and 48 through 3, but all three Cubs' hitters hit the bad hard that inning: 99, 95, and 84.6. Well the Busch ball looked harder than that.

Rizzo goes for a waist high FB on the outside corner, slapped to left for a leadoff single.
Volpe squares to bunt, then tries to bunt a FB out of the zone up and in. Hey, Volpe, just because you're trying to bunt for a hit doesn't mean you HAVE TO bunt at bad pitch out of the zone.
Change low, tapped right to Hoerner, he catches with Rizzo right next to him, tags him, throws out Volpe, rally immediately stopped by a too-easy 4-4-3 DP.
