Easy double play to Volpe to Torres to Rizzo ends the inning for Stroman. Doesn't have the ring of Tinkers to Evers to Chance, but it worked!  |

Slurve waist high, corner inside, jams him, his flare doesn't clear the infield dirt, but it's in the hole for a single that dies in short left.

Takes a sinker that misses outside by a good 4-5 inches but called a strike anyway, 0% on Gameday and not close, Pham got screwed on that one. 1-1
Cutter above and outside middle, popped foul back of 1st, just out of reach off the screen, 1-2.
Throw over on Isbel.
Isbel goes, and Pham tops a sinker right to Volpe, perfect DP ball, but no chance with Isbel running, throws out Pham, 1 out, man on 2nd for Witt.

Slurve waist-high, outside middle, bad spot, pulled through the 56 hole for a hit, Isbel recognizes immediately, leaving Dominguez no option but to flip to 2nd, RBI single makes it 1-0 Royals.

Cutter outside at the knees, ball 1
Slurve in a bad spot, below and outside middle, lined over 3rd into the corner, Witt off to the races, and again, Dominguez is forced to throw to 2nd, too late to get Perez trying for a double. Play was close at 2nd, and Yanks challenge, 2-0 Royals anyway. Very close on replay, Torres with the good stretch for the tag attempt.
Not sure. Maybe not enough to overturn.

Rizzo, Volpe and back to the top for Torres for the Yanks in the 3rd.
