Rizzo gets a slurve on the inner 3rd, pulls it foul, 0-1.
Sinker away, flared over 3rd, and it lands foul by 3-4 inches. Almost got a lucky double, 0-2
Loses a cutter way up and away, 1-2
Change tails outside, Rizzo rolls over on it to Massey, throws him out, 1 down.

Gets a mistake, sinker below middle, but fouls it off.
FB at the top, Volpe swings under it for the K. That's a key weakness, the FB at or above the top, middle and in. K, 2 down.

Cutter on the high outside corner, tries to go to right with it, but tops it to Perez, who takes it to the bag for the 3rd out.

Lugo mowing them down now, 14 pitch 1-2-3 and 45 through 3. 9 in a row retired, and nothing particularly hit hard yet.

Runner goes, the sinker below and inside middle, is fouled off the chest protector/shoulder of Wells.
Runner goes again, slurve outside, and the jump is so big, Wells just holds the ball, 2-2
Slurve waist high outer 3rd, swung under for the K, 2 down.
