Takes a curve inside, 1-0
Takes a change pretty much right down the middle, 1-1
A curve to pretty much the same spot, and he tops it foul, 1-2
O'Neill's description of the 3 pitches to Soto in the at bat are way way off. The last two were near the middle of the zone.
Takes his timeout.
Fouls off a slider that's a couple of inches outside.
Change low in the zone, spoiled
Curve winds up in a bad spot, but there's so much spin and break, he tops it down first weakly, Perez fields and steps on 1st, 1 down.

Judge swings over a curve outside, 0-1
Takes a cutter outside, 1-1
Takes a change low, outer 3rd, 2-1
Slider inside middle, but Judge misses, rolls it over to DeJong, throws him out, 2 down.

Wells takes a slurve on the back door above the knees, 0-1
Takes his timeout.
Change tails to almost the same spot, taken, 0-2
Humps up to 95 on the sinker diving outside, foul tipped off the end of the bat. Barely stays alive.
Curve down and in, bounced foul off 1st.
Takes a change low in the middle, looked it all the way in, too, 1-2
Humps up to 94.5 on a FB near the top, but Wells spoils that, too.
Slurve hangs outside, 2-2.
Wells putting up a fight, at least.

Curve low, Wells chases and bounces it foul.
Cutter winds up near the top, outside corner, swung under for the K, inning over.
Another 1-2-3, this one took a few more pitches.
Top 5, 2-0 Royals
19 pitches for Lugo in the 4th, and 64 through 4.

Isbel, then back to the top for Pham and Witt for the Royals in the 5th.
O's lead the Sox 3-0, bottom 4 in Fenway
Rays and Phils are 4-4 top 6 in Philly
Jays lead the Mets, 4-1, bottom 3 in Toronto.

Splitter about 3-4 inches low, outer 3rd, but he goes down and lines it to right for a leadoff single.

Stroman holds for a bit, then throws over.
Slider away, high chop to 3rd, Chisholm has to charge hard, field and throws a strike on the move, Isbel to 2nd on the swinging bunt.
Witt up now.

Sinker hits the high outside corner, not called, 1st bad call for Stroman, and to the wrong hitter, to boot. 40% on Gameday.
Curve misses high on the corner away, 2-0
Slurve winds up just outside, and he misses late and under, high fly to right, Soto backs up them comes in and toward the line, catches, Isbel bluffs but holds with a hot Perez due up. 2 down.
Blake out to talk to Stroman about what to do with Perez.
Leiter warming for the Yanks.

I just turned on the game but noticed Lugo touches his figures by or behind the belt on his right side before almost every pitch ... at leat he did last inn
