Tanner Houck was scratched from his scheduled start Friday due to right shoulder fatigue.
The Red Sox had Houck slated to pitch on eight daysâ rest to give him time to overcome his dead arm, but it wasnât enough. Richard Fitts will start on four daysâ rest in Houckâs place.
