Why can't this team win as often at home as they do on the road? I think it's more of a divisional thing. The other East teams seem to have multiple guys on their rosters who hit better/pitch better against the Yanks than they do against other teams. I don't see the Yanks tailoring their rosters for the main threat that way.

Why can't this team win as often at home as they do on the road? That's been quite confounding this year. Also, why do they make so many 4+ ERA starters look like prime Sandy Koufax?

Henderson falls behind 1-2, then gets jammed by a sinker inside, his desperation inside out swing, bounces down 3rd, Chisholm tries to dive to the line in short left to cut it off, but it skips past him, becomes a 1 out "excuse me" double.
Mark Leiter into the game to restore ordure.

Randy Arozerana before he was even officially a rookie. The recently-released Michael Wacha with St. Louis. El Duque. I remember Tony Kubek as a rookie in the 1957 World Series. Two home runs in a game against his hometown Milwaukee Braves. Them was the days, I tell ya! I remember 3 ring Pete and Mel! A Ballantine Blast!! How about that!!

Earl Weaver and Billy Martin. Two mild mannered guys who took losing easily.

Rutschman... Takes a curve on the inside corner, 0-1 Bounces a splitter inside, 1-1 Splitter on the inside corner, not called, 30-40% on Gameday. Bad call, 2-1 Fouls off a splitter low, 2-2 Loses a sinker way high, 3-2 Losses a splitter way up and away, ball 4. Santander up to administer the coup de grace.

Nice play by Gleyber to start the twin killing and keeping any Yankee hopes alive.
