This is the last Yankee game I'll be able to watch until the LCS. We leave for Scotland tomorrow, so I'll check in here when I can, but the time difference will make it hard to follow in real time. By Friday I'll be tromping across the Old Course at St. Andrews. Not golfing, just tromping. Have a great and safe trip, Pipps!!! Thanks Chi. It's my own fault if I don't have a good time. |

Takes a slider down and in, 1-0
Sinker waist high, inside middle, he tops it sharply to the right side, but right to Torres, throws him out as Westburg scores and O'Hearn moves to 3rd, 1-0 Orioles.

Rutschman has been awful for a couple of months now. Didn't see that coming. The Orioles seem to get young catchers that look like big stars that have “okay” careers, starting way back with Chris Hoiles… |

Flaherty wasn't their best pitcher, Coney. Skubal is, and was, at the time of the trade.
Schmidt looks in, then steps off.
Cutter misses outside and high, 3-1.
Cutter on the outer 3rd, he just misses under, fouls it off, 3-2
Slider almost down the middle, gets under it, high fly to left, can o'corn for Verdugo, inning over.
Bottom 2, 1-0 O's.
18 pitches in the 2nd for Schmidt, 33 through 2.
Stanton, Chisholm and Rizzo for the Yanks in the 2nd.

Of course it's pretty modest compared to your Grand Tour of Asia this summer. But it will be great. |

I wasn't aware that the Tigers game was already a final. Who plays a game on a Tuesday afternoon? Skubal wraps up the AL Cy Young.
