I suppose that Vogt wants to keep open the option of using Smith all 3 games in Cleveland if it goes at least 5 games.

I guess it could have been worse It can always be worse. Let's hope the Yankees answer here and put pressure on that bullpen to be perfect, then expose Clase. |

Berti gets a FB below middle, fouls it hard off of Hedges.
Slider off the plate inside, Berti chases, breaks the bat, held up in the box by it, and Ramirez immediately starts a 5-4-3 DP, potential rally snuffed.
