Playing Berti over Rizzo has turned into a disaster. Especially because Rizzo has been hitting and getting on base. Silly decision for a guy who loves playing in the postseason with a World Series ring. |

FB misses inside thigh high, called a strike anyway, missed by 2-3 inches on Gameday, 0%
Curve bounced over home, Volpe lays off, 2-2
Curve to the knees in the middle, lined to the corner in left for a 2 out standup double.
Berti had to swing at the slider inside, right? He had to.

Slider waist high, outside corner, misses under it, high fly toward the corner in left, easy play for Kwan, moves toward the line and catches, inning over.
Bottom 7, 3-1 Guardians.
2-3-4 for the Guardians in their half of the 7th inning: Manzardo, Ramirez andJ. Naylor.
Maybe Mayza stays in for Manzardo. Doubt he stays in for Ramirez.

Again, the reason why Berti and Trevino are in the lineup is that Boyd has a .230 BAVG vs. righties and a .143 BAVG vs. lefties. It didn't work.

He's too tired emotionally and physically - Boone probably. They should have pinch hit for Berti there. Yankees have had success against Clase but 3-2 is better than 3-1.
