Again, the reason why Berti and Trevino are in the lineup is that Boyd has a .230 BAVG vs. righties and a .143 BAVG vs. lefties. It didn't work. Defense matters too and those two have hurt the Yankees in this game.

Get Mayza the hell outta here. It's harder to manage a game worse than Bonne has managed this one.

Mayza stays in. Fry takes a sinker outside, 1-0 FB in the zone above and inside middle, pulled high and out of play down the left side 1-1 Bounces a back leg slider, 2-1 sinker outside, 3-1 Danger pitch here. Sinker outside ball 4.
OK, Boone, riddle me this... IF YOU'RE GOING TO KAHNLE HERE FOR RAMIREZ, WHY WASN'T HE IN THE GAME WHEN THE GUARDIANS PH WITH FRY?

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Maybe wants to save Rizzo to PH for Trevino, but he could go with Wells anyway, inasmuch as he has to come it at catcher. Otherwise, I have no idea.

Stupid move by Boone. Kahnle is effective against both right and left hand hitters.

Ramirez takes a change below middle, 0-1 Change at the bottom near middle, gets under it to left center, tails toward Verdugo, who catches and calls, 1 down.

He could pinch hit Jasson Dominguez and then insert Wells defensively.

Naylor 0-1 with a BB vs. Kahnle in the regular season. Hasn't faced him in this series, yet.
Naylor swings over a change low, outer 3rd. Swings over another, even lower, 0-2
