Schneemann has never faced Kahnle before, regular season or playoffs. Takes a change in the zone low/away, 0-1 Change in the zone low/away, pulled toward the 34 hole, Berti ranges well of 1st, fires it hard in front of Kahnle who gloves and steps on 1st. Nice play there for a "rookie".
Top 8, 3-1 Guardians. Trevino or a pinch hitter, Torres and Soto for the Yanks. Hunter Gaddis coming in for Cleveland for the 8th.

Rizzo is 0-2 vs. Gaddis. Trevino is 1-2 with a RBI single, Wells hasn't faced Gaddis. Torres is 0-2 with 2 K and 2 BB. Soto is 0-1 with 1 BB.
In this series: Torres has a single off Gaddis Soto has a deep flyout to left.

Wells takes a FB high, 1-0 Takes a slider above and outside middle, 1-1 FB in the zone up and away, swung under, 1-2 FB was supposed to be away, wound up near the inside corner up and in, swung and under, foul tipped into the mitt, K, 1 down.

Boone has simply chalked this one up for a loss.

Torres misses a slider going just outside 0-1 FB near the top, hit well, but the grounder is close to Gimenez, throws him out, 2 down.

I'd give Dominguez a shot, too. Why not? He has more power than anyone not named Judge, Stanton, and Soto. And, he can beat it down the first base line.

Soto takes a slider up and away, ball 1. Another one, a bit low, but still well outside, 2-0 FB way high, 3-0 FB lower, but still not close, ball 4 and Judge bats as the tying run. Judge hit the HR off Gaddis in the 7th in game 2, otherwise, he's 1-5 with 2 K's vs. Gaddis. Judge is 0-2 with 2 BB, 1 intentional, and 1 GIDP vs. Clase
Can't hit in a DP here. And of course, Clase hasn't appeared in the series until now. Clase on 4 days' rest since wrapping up game 5 of the ALDS vs. the Tigers.

Judge facing Clase with the tying run on first. Big moment for the big man.
