yes the mets have a pulse. while i never call anything, hopefully this series heads back to LA. This one isn't over yet; 3-run HR by Pages makes it a 10-5 game with the Mets still needing to come up with 13 more outs. |

yup never call anything. dodgers have put up a 3 spot in the top of the 5th to make it 10-5. mets hanging on by their fingernails.

See where the Yankees called up Leiter to replace Hamilton. As the late Peter Marshall use to say: I might have gone to Charlie Weaver for the block,but maybe this will work out.

If Cortes had been ready, I think it would have been him. I think he would pretty good at coming in and pitching an inning or two. Leiter is a one inning mop up man. |
