And a GREAT RESPONSE to the walkoff by Fry last night.
Judge takes a cutter low and outside, ball 1.
FB in, he tries to inside out a drive down the right side, but it slices foul.
Curve low and outside, taken, 2-1
Curve again low and away, 3-1
Cutter to the knees, inside middle, taken, 3-2
Takes his timeout.
FB below middle at 98.8, grounded hard but close to Rocchio, who fields it on the left side, throws him out, 1 down.

18 pitches in the 1st for Williams.
Now we see if Gil has any command at all after nearly 3 weeks of not pitching.

I'll be out of the country for a week. Will return just in time for the WS. Hopefully Yankees will win ALCS. I have my dvr set to record the remaining ALCS games. Go Yankees!!  Now let's win this one.  |

Jazz was a great spark down the stretch but has been horrible in the Playoffs. Running his mouth and under performing. Would've like the see OC get a start.

Leiter did look better the last week of the season, if that means anything. Hasn't pitched in almost three weeks, needs command to be effective, so...¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Yeah, he's clearly a use when only necessary option. |
