So the bottom line...are the Dodgers this good, or the Yankees this bad? Because I saw both, the Mets and the Padres, play these guys tough, bouncing back when the Dodgers beat up on them. the Mets gave up like a hundred runs to the Dodgers. |

Even for me a long term critic of the lack of Yankee hitting our inability to hit against good teams is amazing. We just can not hit.

I said it all year, and I'll say it again...this is the worst first place finishing Yankees team I have ever seen in my entire life. At least they got AL pennant #41 out of this season, which is more than I ever expected this team to do, but man, it hurts seeing this, and realizing the rest of the world is watching the weakness of this team too...in a nutshell...it's embarrassing.

Waist high curve catches the edge of the outside corner, taken, 1-1
Throw over.
Gets under a curve, hangs way high, 2-1
Hangs the cutter above middle, inside out line drive to right center for a hit, Soto's on it an makes a good throw, but Lux read it immediately, gets to 3rd with nobody out.
