No team has ever come back from a 0-3 deficit to win a WS. So we're due, right? 6-3 Yanks tonight. I don't even think a team has made it to a game 6 once down 0-3. Nope, never happened. Out of 24 times a team has been up 3-0 in the World Series, 21 ended with a sweep. Three times a team has forced a Game 5, most recently 1970 when the Reds did so against Baltimore, but never has a team down 3-0 forced even a Game 6. |

I can see not coming back to win it, but never even won the next 2? Wow. It is to me too. It doesn't seem like it should be nearly impossible. Maybe the Yanks can at least make that much history. |
